Although Giyu maintains a cold and distant stance, among all the pillars, Shinobu is the one who has the best relationship with him. Shinobu says that Giyuu is hated by other people, which can seem mean, but in reality she actually supports him.
Shinobu believes that he should talk more, according to her section. Later at Natagumo Mountain, Shinobu is commenting on the dead demon slayers and asking Giyu questions but he says nothing. She gets annoyed with him because he shows no interest in collaborating with her on this mission. He just wants to slay demons.

Why is Shinobu so weak?
People think she’s the weakest because she doesn’t have the strength to kill demons based off raw power alone due to her small body. But the upside to that is what Shinobu lacks for in strength, she makes up for in speed.

Why did Shinobu make Kanao her chosen Tsuguko?
Shinobu eventually made Kanao her chosen Tsuguko (successor) due to her considerable talent and exceptional skills as a Demon Slayer.

Although initially Shinobu harbored little trust in her due to her status as a Demon, Shinobu gradually began developing a sense of respect for Tamayo as they began working together on a drug that can finally destroy Muzan, as seen where Shinobu was genuinely impressed at Tamayo skill as a doctor and fellow poisoner and was truly appreciative of her skills due to them making it possible to successfully create their Anti-Kibitsuji Drug that successfully weakened Muzan enough to death. Tamayo herself was even willing to assist Shinobu in her quest for vengeance by helping her modify her body to be saturated in Wisteria Poison for the battle against the Upper Rank 2, showing that by that time, Shinobu had already seen past Tamayo’s status as a demon and had truly come to trust and admire her as a fellow doctor.

Inside of Limbo, Doma, having heard and been touched by Shinobu’s strong faith and belief in her comrades and fellow Demon Slayers’ ability to defeat the demons and slay Muzan, seemingly begins to develop genuine feelings of romantic attraction towards Shinobu.
However, Shinobu does wish Giyu would talk more. Despite all this, it is revealed in the second fanbook by Gyomei’s comments on the Hashira that the two do enjoy talking to each other.
Who is Giyu’s sister?
Tsutako Tomioka. Tsutako is Giyu’s older sister. Not much is known about Giyu and Tsutako’s relationship, but it was revealed that Giyu and his sister used to have a strong and loving sibling relationship. One night, Tsutako hid the young Giyu and sacrificed herself to protect him from Demons attacking their home.
When Tanjiro is presumed dead after the battle with Muzan Kibutsuji, Giyu cries and blames himself for not being able to protect him. When Tanjiro becomes a Demon, however, Giyu shows little hesitation to attack him with the intent to kill unlike others who are close to Tanjiro.
The only time there is respect shown is when Kagaya is in the room. It is shown that Giyu attempts to have a friendly gesture towards Sanemi when Tanjiro offers to eat ohagi together. After the Demon Slayers are disbanded, the two Hashira look to each other and smile, since their long journey finally ended.
Obanai hated Giyu for unclear reasons, though Obanai’s temper may be a large factor in it. Later in their fight against Muzan the two were shown protecting each other and working together.
Tanjiro is the one who allows Giyu to open up and realize he needs to step up to being the inheritor of the Water Breathing Style, and not let his past losses and feeling of inadequacy prevent him from realizing this. The two actually have more in common than they think, thinking on similar wavelengths.

Sanemi and Giyu seem to not have a very good relationship as their personalities are quite different. Sanemi with his usually loud and abrasive speech while Giyu is kept calm and quiet. The only time there is respect shown is when Kagaya is in the room.
